Chip and Moo on the 7pm Project

They make out like they're reporting on something called "The Comedy Festival", but I think that was the only way they could film us and not make too much of a scene. I know seeing me in mid-workout might be a bit much for some people, but doing that on the street is a sure-fire way of getting "it" out there. "It" being the fact that you can actually achieve our kind of mass and definition the all-natural way.

Spreading the Gospel of Mr Natural

Here we are outside Melbourne Town Hall, spreading the gospel of all natural bodybuilding. I apologise that the photos are blurry, but we were moving so fast the camera couldn't keep up. It's important to keep moving fast when you're not lifting weights, to keep your muscles warm. If you let them cool down, you have to waste valuable lifting time at your next workout warming them up again.

Anyway, we seemed to get a very good response from the public to our spreading the word of natural bodybuilding. A lot of people were pointing and staring (presumably in awe of our muscularity), and a few people from the Grand Prix even yelled out to us as they were walking past. We felt so supported.

Progress photos

When you are training so intensively - it's important to keep track of your progress. You need to know that the hard work you are putting in is paying off in the right way. Obviously the right pay off is to get bigger muscles when you are training for a bodybuilding championship. Perhaps the right pay off might be different if you were in training for a potato farming competition - I couldn't say. I've got nothing against potatoes, but I wouldn't say I'm an expert in training for a potato farming competition, because it wouldn't be true.

I think you will see from these before and after photos that our training definitely IS paying off in the right way, by our incredible transformations...and not by the size of our potatoes.

Agressiveness training

Moo thinks I need to be more aggressive when posing. Mr Natural is about being as natural as possible and nature isn’t always nice. Here we are training hard outside in the extremely harsh nature. It might look lush, but those agaves can be quite spiky! And the banana plants didn't even have any bananas. Moo also told me about how in ancient Sparta parents would leave a new-born baby outside for a night, exposed to the elements. If it survived it had the makings of a warrior. Last night I sat outside my house naked, intending to stay there all night. Unfortunately the family next door arrived home late and well.... I guess some people just aren’t ready for truly natural men.

Old school training

I've often heard that the reason people in the past lived much longer was because they worked hard out in nature, the way nature intended, in nature...naturally. Well we decided it would be good to go volunteer out on a farm. We moved a lot of hay for feed, and boy was it hard work - although I'm not sure about the taste. We must have done a really good job because after only an hour, the farmer told us to leave and not bother coming back!

Not just for hair

As you know, we take the "Natural" in Mr Natural very seriously - and that includes all our body products.

For our hair colouring, Henna is the obvious choice, but can you get any more natural than Henna and Placenta? I don't think so.

Henna, and Placenta.... together at last.

Beach Training Session

Cross-training is about exercising your body and refreshing your mind.

We often play bocce and Moo has been doing a lot of gardening. I have also started stacking shelves at the local op shop and I sometimes wear high heels around the house.

Here's a photo of us training our reflexes.
